Smokes for everyday use at incredible prices

Everyday Smokes - An Edit of Essentials from EGM Cigars

The collecting of Cuban Cigars is a passion which offers a world of variety to the enthusiast.  The myriad options available for us to smoke are diverse in terms of flavour, strength and duration.  To some – especially the newcomer – this can be bewildering, even intimidating.  When building a collection the choices can be overwhelming, simply because there are so many good cigars to go for.

At EGM Cigars we have created a capsule collection of everyday smokes to serve as the foundation of any collection.  These are classic sticks we feel will help cigar lovers, both novice and experienced, ensure their humidors always have a solid base of cigars.  They offer a variety of flavour profiles, fit a range of occasions and timeframes, and cover most of the classic Cuban brands.

This entire collection will be presented at a price point designed to make them as accessible as possible.  Cigars should not be solely the passion of the wealthy, rather they should be enjoyed by anyone who has a love of flavour, of self-reward and of artisanal craft.  There will be no gimmicks, no flash sales and no codes to enter or hoops to jump through – just great cigars at great prices, to be enjoyed every day.

The Quick Respites

Every cigar smoker has moments when they need to pause and unwind, but find themselves short on time.  These sticks are perfect for just that: 30 minutes or less of flavour and meditation, ideal for a coffee break in the middle of a hectic day.

Vegueros Mananitas:

Medium-to-full body, like the rest of the Vegueros line, but packed into a 3 7/8 inches by 46 ring gauge petit piramides shape that will be with you for around 25 minutes.  Notes of nuts and warm leather will go brilliantly with a strong black coffee.

Montecristo No. 5:

The most popular brand in the world, condensed into a format that will fill a quick 20 minute walk between meetings.  Full flavoured, notes of dark chocolate and dark-roast coffee, and only 4 inches by 40 ring gauge.  Excellent for when we need a quick puff.

Bolivar Petit Corona:

The Bolivar expression of the classic Mareva vitola (5 1/8 inches by 42 ring gauge).  This cigar will bring full-bodied nuts and spices to your break. It’s the perfect introduction to what some call the strongest Cuban blend.

 The Classic Robustos

The Robusto, at 4 7/8 inches by 50 ring gauge, is perhaps the most famous shape in the market at the moment, used by many brands as their marquee smoke.  These are some of our favourites, and offer a comprehensive breadth of flavours which will be enjoyed for around 40-45 minutes.

Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No. 2

The lightest in body of this capsule and the perfect cigar for a beginner.  The Epi 2 has been in production for over 60 years and owes its popularity to the accessibility of the sweet, mellow flavour profile.  A solid base for any collection.

Romeo y Julieta Short Churchill

Plenty of citrus and a little spice fill this medium-bodied cigar.  An extra gold band signifying its place in the Churchill line from Romeo y Julieta glints out from your humidor and the flavours sit well in the afternoon or evening.

Ramon Allones Specially Selected

This cigar has been delighting smokers for almost 100 years.  Moving toward the fuller bodied end of our Robusto selection, it brings toast, leather, pepper, earth and nutmeg to the palate and is a magnificent choice to round off a meal.

Partagas Serie D No. 4

A brand popular since 1845, and a cigar loved since its release in 1975.  This is the heavyweight of our Robusto line-up, full of spice, dark chocolate and pepper and with a very full body.  Delicious at the end of a long day, paired with something strong to help us relax.

 The Extended Rewards

Sometimes we have to allow ourselves an extended moment of pause – a moment to reflect on challenges met and to come, to decompress after the stresses of daily life and to calm the mind and rest the body.  These larger cigars are the perfect pleasure when our time is our own.

H. Upmann Magnum 54

At 4 ¾ inches by 54 ring gauge this vitola is a shade shorter but a chunk thicker than a robusto, pushing your smoking time up to around 60 minutes.  Light-to-medium body, full of cream and with a gentle touch of cedar, it’s the perfect smoke for a slow, sunny Sunday afternoon.

Montecristo No. 2

Our second Montecristo, and the first of 2 large Piramides, this cigar will accompany you for over an hour.  Like its smaller brother it will deliver notes of dark-roast coffee, with the addition of warm spice and pepper.  When you have time on your hands, this is a terrific treat.

Partagas Serie P No. 2

A larger, more opulent expression of the blend so well loved for so long.  Like the D4 this cigar will bring full-bodied pepper and dark chocolate, along with rich earth and pure tobacco.  This cigar will satisfy even the most discerning of aficionados.
